Install Atoms Katana plugin on Windows

Atoms VFX 5.0.0 

AtomsKatana is shipped with an installer since Atoms VFX 5.0.0.

Please use the installer and the plugin will be configured for you.

You can download AtomsKatana installer from here.

AtomsVFX 4.0.0 or earlier

1. Download Atoms Clarisse from here.

2. Extract the AtomsKatana folder from the zip archive.

3. Copy the AtomsKatana folder to

   C:/Program Files/Toolchefs/

    

4. Set these env variables:

   ATOMS_KATANA=C:\Program Files\Toolchefs\AtomsKatana\2.6v4 KATANA_RESOURCES=%ATOMS_KATANA%;%KATANA_RESOURCES% PATH=%ATOMS_KATANA%/bin;%PATH% ATOMS_KATANA_PROCEDURAL=%ATOMS_KATANA%/rman/21.6/AtomsRManProcedural.dll ATOMS_GLSL_PATH=%ATOMS_KATANA%/glsl ATOMS_KATANA_FONTS=%ATOMS_KATANA%/fonts ATOMS_GLSL_DISABLE_LIGHTS=1 toolchefs_LICENSE=5053@localhost (change servername to your hostname where the license server is running, PLEASE USE THIS ENV VARIABLE ONLY FOR FLOATING LICENSES)

    

5. If you are using floating licenses and the license server is running on another machine set the environment variable toolchefs_LICENSE or RLM_LICENSE to 5053@servername

6. If you are using arnold set also the following env variable:

   ATOMS_KATANA_PROCEDURAL=%ATOMS_KATANA%/arnold/5.0.1.4/procedural/AtomsArnoldProcedural.dll
