Installing the license server

You will need to download and install the Atoms License Server before you can use Atoms.

You don't need to install the license server if you just want to use a PLE license. A PLE license is a node locked file.

Atoms uses version 12.1BL2/11.1BL2 of the RLM license server to manage the floating licenses.

You can download the Atoms License server from the download page on atoms website.
These downloads include both the generic RLM license server and the specific Toolchefs license daemon.
The latest version of the RLM license server works with all older versions of Atoms.
