This version of Atoms Crowd contains the following bug fixes and improvements.

Features and improvements:

  • Additive Clip.
  • Removed the zero joint rotation restriction for character bind pose. Now joints can have any rotation value in bind pose.
  • Arnold 5.2.1.0 support.
  • Renderman 22.2 support.
  • Custom imath module importer. If you want to use the imath python module (and not AtomsMath) set the ATOMS_IMATH_PYTHON_BINDING env variable. i.e. ATOMS_IMATH_PYTHON_BINDING="yourimathmodulename"
  • AtomsUI: improved preview viewport. The foot down data graph is synchronized with the viewport (ACS-25)
  • New feature added to the variation builder tool (Maya only)
  • Added disableFootLock attribute inside the AtomsUI anim clip widget. The Idle option is not in use anymore and will be removed in the next versions of Atoms. Please use disable the foot lock option from now on.

Bug Fixes:

  • Anim clip exporter. the animation exporter evaluates the world matrix of the root joint before exporting the atomsclip/fbx. In this way a parent group of the skeleton can be animated.
  • CFX simulation exporter: fixed skeleton build when the root joint has no zero rotation.
  • Anim clip exporter: fixed the frame range of the exported fbx.
  • AtomsKatana: fixed cache start frame issue.
  • AtomsUI: Fixed Transition frame dialog.
  • AtomsHoudini: fixed sim start frame issue..
  • AtomsMaya: fixed pole vector locator construction, now only a locator is built without any annoation.
  • ACS-23: Long joint name export ui resize.
  • ACS-24: Viewer traceback.
  • ACS-22: Frame range UI issue.
