Atoms support Renderman, Arnold and Vray renderer. There are procedural for each of these 3 renders that can be used inside maya/houdini or standalone.

Maya

It is possible to render each agent group as a normal maya node, just lunch a render and the procedural are automatically loaded. But please be aware the motion blur will not work if you render directly from an agent group.

You must export a cache of your simulation and then use an AtomsProxy node to load it in the scene. The Atoms proxy node support the motion blur.

With Vray just the Atoms Proxy node works. Is not possible to render directly the agent group nodes.

Houdini

In houdini to render you simulation, you must export an atoms cache and the create a Renderman/Arnold procedural node from the Atoms menu
